Recovery
Recovery aid aims at restoring livelihoods, health, and sanitation services, and access to education and skills development in communities affected by various causes of displacement. As a critical link between relief and development aid efforts, recovery assistance enables those affected to begin recovering physically, economically, socially, and environmentally.
For example, education can be a form of rehabilitation and reintegration for child soldiers. It can be a life-saving activity that helps prevent children from being recruited or drawn into becoming child soldiers.
